Zamil Offshore Services Company to build and deliver RIBCRAFT security boats for The Red Sea destination

Zamil Offshore Services Company signed a Licensed Manufacturing Agreement in March 2022 to build and deliver RIBCRAFT design boats in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The company has announced that the first contract with its strategic partner Red Sea Global for locally manufacturing RIBCRAFT boats was signed in Oct 2022. This includes the construction and delivery of 11 Security boats based on 4 designs from RIBCRAFT, UK.  These boats will be completely built at the new Composite Facility at Zamil Shipyard, Dammam as “SAUDI MADE”. All 11 boats are planned to be delivered by April 2023.

This will herald a new beginning in fostering the local Maritime capability in manufacturing of world class RIBs, based on proven and reputed RIBCRAFT, UK design.

Towards this, I am happy to state that Zamil Shipyard, within a period of 6 months since conceiving the strategy to develop composite boat build capability has been successful in not only setting up the infrastructure and capability, but also signing the first major contract with one of our Key strategic Partners, Red Sea Global, for the supply of the Security Boats. We look forward to continuously and constantly aspiring to execute this prestigious project and similar projects to meet our Country’s maritime and commercial requirements inline with Vision 2030” says Nasser Al Hazzani, Chief Operating Officer, Zamil Offshore Services Co.
